Boulder City Info for Boulder Colorado
“Boulder is known for its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, natural product retailers and restaurants, outstanding alternative transportation options, diverse businesses, and technological and academic resources” (City of Boulder)
Boulder’s Elevation is at 5430 Feet and is just 35 miles from Denver Metropolis. Boulder has a number of colleges including being home to University of Colorado’s Main Campus and Naropa University. During school many students use the Multipath to reach campus.
Boulder Creek Multi-Use Path is the vein of many inner city bicycle commuters. Along the creek path you can enjoy a wide variety of recreation as well. There are many FREE Festivals that are held along the path during the summer, including the famous Boulder Creek Festival and Farmer’s Market. At Broadway and Canyon there is a Band shell that hosts a numerous range of performers each year. Some of these are free to the public.
Boulder has several Community Parks and even Dog Parks for our Canine Companions. Speaking of dogs, most storefronts are canine friendly as long as you have them on a leash at all times. No Dogs are allowed in Pearl Street Mall areas for safety reasons. Enjoy Hiking with your four legged friend off leash (must have Voice & Sight Tag) at any of the Open Space and Mtn Parks.
